There were 11 two’s each worth £3.50
Next Week
On Thursday we will be playing for the second of the Wilson competitions, this time the Wilson Trophy but played in stableford format.
Team Competitions
For those that are not aware, we do play matches against other clubs from around the county and Southern Scotland which take place most weeks throughout the summer with home and away fixtures. The cost for the day is generally in the low to mid-teens which includes the game and a two-course meal to follow. That must be good value for money to play other courses in a friendly but competitive manner.
If you are interested, please check out the notice board beside the facilities where sheets are put up to allow members to enter for these games or if you are unsure but would like to know more, please speak to any of the committee members.
These games are not exclusive for low handicappers, they are for everyone no matter what your handicap is.
Divoting
There will be another divoting session on Wednesday but this time it will be starting at 8.30 with customary bacon/sausage butties, tea and coffee so don’t worry if you do not have time for breakfast, it will be up at the club waiting for you!
