DA Newsletter – Anniversary Decanter
After one of the lowest turnouts this summer of 68 players, Barry Bowman comes up trumps with a very good 41points followed by Stephen Barnes on 40 points after a countback.
Unfortunately for those with a two the combination of only 68 players and 15 2’s you end with £2.00 each, so enjoy your night out!
On Thursday it will be another Stableford playing for the Monkhouse Shield and our fifth Grant Qualifier which is the competition where the best four stableford scores out of six counts towards your total score.
Please note the entry sheet for the PGC Team event (Wednesday 21st September) and the similar Barnard Castle event a week later are now up on the Dad’s Army notice board at the club.
So, if you are in the top 30 in the Order of Merit after last Thursday’s comp (1st Sept) and you want to represent PGC at either event, please put your name on the sheet or let Don Pamphilon know on email@example.com
The sheet will be taken down by 5pm this Thursday (8th Sept) and the 2 teams picked from the entry sheet (or emails to Don)
Peter (Competitions Secretary)
