DA Newsletter 2nd June Millennium Cup
Results
Paul Stainton was the only player to break the forty barrier with a very respectable 44points, 5 points clear of second placed Brian Johnson on 39 and he himself 2 points clear of third place. Obviously, the weather was too good for the majority of us because we certainly cannot blame the condition of the course.
There was a good turnout of 74 players and 13 2’s worth £2.50 each, with Mike Childs bagging two of them.
Next week
On Thursday, the previously postponed Ward Cup will be played where we play in medal format and the best gross score taking the trophy.
Entering scores
Could you please enter the scores onto the computer as soon as you are finished your round and before you go into the club house or home. This is for practical reasons as there is always someone waiting to take the box away and close the competition.
Website
A shortened version of our results will be put on the club website in the Senior section along with other reports and information covering many things PGC. Please have a look and I am sure comments to the relevant people would be appreciated.
Inter-Cub Mixed Competition
On the 11thJune, Penrith will be playing host to the Carlisle Team, but we are short of two players to complete our team. If you are able to help out, please could you make contact ASAP, that would be very much appreciated. You can either reply to me or contact
