Steve Ingram returned an excellent score of 78-12-66 to win the 1st Lonsdale qualifier on a testing day on top of the hill. A cold, strong north easterly wind blew much of the field away on an otherwise dry day which saw only two nett scores in the 60’s. The second saw a welcome return to form for Gareth Rylands who returned a commendable 74-4-69. The lowest gross of the day was delivered by David Simpson with a 73.
