John Walmesley’s 2022 campaign got off to an excellent start as he lead the qualifiers by winning the 1st Lowther last Sunday. John’s winning score of +3 was enough to hold off Chris Currie and Martin Hodgson who both finished on +2. Following the overnight rain the course played long which was reflected in the scoring which saw only 5 players return plus scores in the bogey format.
