Following the Extraordinary General Meeting on 22nd September and the subsequent resignation of the Management Committee, the members asked the EC to take over the running of the Club until the Annual General Meeting. The EC will form an interim committee to fulfil this task.
The main issues that need addressing are:
- To process the outstanding disciplinary matters
- To fix a date for the AGM, possibly in December
- For members to review the constitution of the committee structure
- For the members to consider the rules of the Club
The Chair of the Executive Committee has made arrangements to speak with all the staff to reassure them about the situation.
We really appreciate the support from members and value your input. It is our intention to hold an open forum in the near future where members will be invited to share their ideas on the Club’s constitution.
