Our Captain Javid Latif would like to welcome all golfers and visitors to Penrith Golf Club. Being a five handicap Javid is experienced it not only playing the game but passing on his experiences to all newcomers to the club.
Javid is passionate about golf and Penrith Golf Club and is keen to develop community links to strengthen the reputation of our busy and friendly club. Recently Javid’s away day took place at Darlington Golf club which he has strong links with having grown lived and worked in the North east of England. Following this Captains Day was held at Penrith and with the weather holding a fun day was had by all culminating in a presentation and some great food in the evening!
Local community links and family are important to Javid and Penrith Golf Club. The club was lucky to be able to host the recent 4 Eden day. Stalls and activities were on hand to entertain the kids whilst good causes such as the Cumbria air ambulance were on hand to explain the remarkable job that they do. We estimate a thousand people attended and we certainly would welcome them back to support such great causes and see what else Penrith Golf Club has to offer.
